Job Responsibilities

Creare seeks a highly accurate accounting professional to join our Accounting Department. The successful applicant will initially be responsible for Payroll processing (a semi-monthly, in-house function) but will also contribute in a number of areas including but not limited to Accounts Receivable/Billing, Government reporting, and Accounts Payable.    This is a hands-on role that will float within the department according to workload needs and priorities.

 

Professional Requirements

A.S./B.S. in Business and/or Accounting with a minimum of five years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) is required. Familiarity with government cost accounting and Deltek Costpoint software experience is a plus. This position requires relevant technical skills (bookkeeping/accounting/auditing principles) and experience with automated accounting systems and related software (Excel a must).  Individual must be willing to work as part of a team, be flexible to adapt to evolving needs in the department, and be able to learn quickly.
